🛠️ The Future of Work: Collaborative, Human-in-the-Loop AI
AI does not simply reduce the need for human work. In many cases, it does the opposite. When AI increases production, it also increases the amount of work that needs to be reviewed, coordinated, improved, approved, contextualized, and turned into real outcomes. More output creates more decisions. More automation creates more supervision.
That is why Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) is becoming one of the most important ideas in applied AI: not AI replacing human judgment, but AI expanding what professionals can do while keeping humans involved in the parts that require context, accountability, creativity, and decision-making.
This Friday, June 26, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, AI Tinkerers Asunción will host a bilingual, hands-on Build Night at the Centro Paraguayo Japonés in the Señorita Agustina Miranda room.
This is a builder-focused hackathon challenge. The goal is to design and prototype practical AI tools and workflows that keep humans in the loop to solve real problems.
🏆 The Challenge: Build for Real-World Workflows
We challenge you to create tools that help professionals use AI inside real workflows. These can be tools for lawyers, accountants, administrators, educators, analysts, managers, founders, operators, or any other professionals who want to improve their work with AI.
We are also looking for tools built for emerging roles created by AI itself: AI operators, workflow designers, agent supervisors, automation builders, prompt engineers, reviewers, and human coordinators.
Your prototype could take many forms:
- Professional Assistants: An AI assistant that helps a lawyer review documents faster, while a human makes the final decision.
- Financial Guardrails: A tool that helps accountants classify transactions and detect inconsistencies for human verification.
- Coordination Systems: A system that helps teams manage tasks, escalate issues, and coordinate between humans and AI agents.
- New Paradigms: A workflow designed for a profession that did not exist before the current wave of generative AI.
Rather than asking only whether AI will replace work, this Build Night starts from a more useful question: What new kinds of work become possible when humans and AI collaborate inside real workflows?
This question is especially relevant in Paraguay and Latin America, where many industries still have enormous room for better tools, better coordination, and more efficient processes. AI can help close that gap, but only if it is designed around real human needs and real work environments.
📅 Schedule & Logistics
To ensure a high-signal environment, space is strictly limited to 200 attendees. Registrations are manually screened to prioritize active engineers, developers, and builders. The exact room and entry details will be provided to accepted attendees.
- Date: Friday, June 26, 2026
- Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Language: Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Location: Centro Paraguayo Japonés, Asunción (Specific room details sent upon approval)
- Requirement: Bring your laptop, your ideas, and your working code.
During the event, we will also announce the winner of the previous Build Night.
🎙️ Show Your Work: 3-Minute Technical Demos
In addition to the main building challenge, participants are invited to present short, 3-minute technical demos of what they are building.
The Rules for Demos:
- Show, Don’t Tell: Run your project live. No slide decks allowed. Just working code, workflows, or tools.
- Expose the Internals: Share your stack, prompt strategies, and technical challenges solved.
- Teach, Don’t Sell: Focus on the technical implementation, not a product pitch.
